This means that a candidate can enter the nomination office with a maximum of four additional persons. The candidate is included in the total limit of five people prescribed by the Election Commission.

The restriction has been introduced to control unnecessary crowds during the nomination process and to ensure that the nomination offices remain properly managed and organized.

Rally Not Allowed During Nomination Process

Candidates contesting the Rajasthan Panchayat Election 2026 will not be allowed to organize any type of rally while submitting their nomination forms.

Candidates and their supporters will have to follow the prescribed limits during the nomination process. Bringing a large number of supporters to the nomination office or organizing a rally in connection with the nomination process will not be permitted under the issued instructions.

Number of Vehicles Allowed During Nomination

The State Election Commission has also prescribed a limit on the number of vehicles that can be brought within 100 meters of the office of the Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer.

A candidate contesting for the Zila Parishad Member post can bring a maximum of three vehicles within the prescribed 100-meter area. A Panchayat Samiti Member candidate can bring up to two vehicles, while a Sarpanch candidate can bring only one vehicle within this limit.

Vehicle Expenses to Be Included in Election Expenditure

The State Election Commission has also clarified the treatment of vehicle expenses during the nomination process. If a candidate does not withdraw their nomination after submitting the nomination form, the expenditure incurred on vehicles used at the time of nomination will be added to the candidate's total election expenditure.

Therefore, the expenses related to the vehicles used for submitting the nomination form will be considered part of the candidate's election expenses if the candidate continues in the election and does not withdraw the nomination.
